On Friday, January 10, the General Manager of Orza, Luis Caro, participated in the 2nd Annual Workshop on Science and Innovation in Aquaculture, organized by the Universidad Austral de Chile.

In his talk, Caro talked about differentiation between creativity and innovation; problems and solutions; and the importance of the diversity of ideas.

After his presentation, the engineer said that “the industry every day is incorporating more technology, which is in direct benefit of productivity and efficiency. I think that the industry is at a very advanced level, but there are still many things to do “.

On the occasion, the organizers highlighted the work of the Aquaculture Innovation Club – of which Orza is also a member – and the role that this group could play to generate links between the academy and private companies.
