This week, Ignacio Villanueva, Industrial Civil Engineer, with experience in the maritime transport industry, joins the Orza team.

The professional from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María worked for three years in the German company Hapag Lloyd, which has a large international presence.

Villanueva will come to strengthen the projects area by contributing to teamwork and sharing his international and commercial vision.

“This is a very striking project and I am interested in showing numbers and improvements in the short term. My experience at Hapag Lloyd will help me to meet this challenge”, said the engineer, who will have to unite the areas of operations, administration and services.

Along with welcoming him, the General Manager of the Company, Luis Caro, expressed his confidence that Ignacio will be a great contribution to the company.

“We are pleased to add a young engineer, with new ideas and with experience in a world-class company. The new times require us to adapt to the constant changes and the contribution of Ignacio Villanueva will be fundamental ”, said the general manager.

Ignacio comes from Puerto Montt. He worked for three years at Hapag Lloyd, a leading company in container transport and international logistics. While Ignacio was in the German company, he held the positions of Coordinator Service Procurement and Senior Coordinator Sales Steering.
